DAVID TAYLOR

While living and working on the land, Taylor developed a deep spiritual connection with the country and found the vastness of our wilderness to be an inspiration for his spirit and creativity.

Taylor’s¬†photography is centered on the natural colours and patterns of the land and captures the energy of our changing environment. His aerial photography showcases the amazing patterns and colours left by the process of age, weathering and erosion.

Taylor shoots from a Glasair Sportsman aircraft and has won acclaim for his images of Australian outback lakes and waterways. Selected images have been published in the books ‘Desert Channels and Desert Lakes’ and ‘Arnhem Land’.

Taylor has held two successful exhibitions showcasing the beauty of the Australian landscape from an aerial perspective.

Taylor’s work hangs in the Nevada Museum of Art, USA.
