Over 30 years, Lees has moved through different periods as an artist, from black and white infrared prints to slab constructed ceramics.

Lees is currently working on a series of small clay sculptures inspired by the simple joys and ambiance of home life.

By referencing materials and structures common to the rural landscape, Lees celebrates the uniqueness of the handcrafted object in an era of mass production.
